The Battle of Wardak Pass
The British orders are to escort a high-level civilian minister through a valley of death the Afghans call Wardak Pass. The British face a ragtag army culled from the neighboring tribes, led by two units of the Afghan regular army. The rules used are The Sword and The Flame. Find out more about the rules here
Culver City Car Show May 2007
The city closes down a couple of blocks of Washington Blvd. in downtown Culver City so people can bring their cars out and show them off. There's some cool stuff. This is hardly exhaustive, just some of the cars that caught my eye.

A gaming convention that takes place in Los Angeles once a year. This was a Warhammer game that was set up early Monday morning. I liked the way they laid out the table.
Warhammer is a game rule set that combines miniature wargaming with D&D, so your armies have wizards and other magic users who can target enemy users, along with the normal accoutrements of war.
