Flying Fortress over Topanga

While I was walking along the beach, I got buzzed by this B-17 Flying Fortress. A little internet research led me to the home of the Nine-o-Nine, a B-17 that travels across country as part of the Wings of Freedom tour. You can take a flight aboard this particular bird at any of the locations scheduled (http://www.collingsfoundation.org/cf_schedule-wof.htm).

Moo Cards

Moo.com is a company in Britain that does printing. They stared out with a product they call MiniCards. These are cards just a bit smaller than a business card with a picture on one side and text on the back. I prepared these 100 images for my first set of Moo cards to show off some of my photography.

Lunar Eclipse

These are a few photos I took of the Lunar Eclipse on February 20, 2008. Unfortunately, the cloud cover and the rushed preparation resulted less-than-stellar results. Still, if you don't poke too close, the images look good :)

Tournament of Roses Parade 2008

The Rose Parade, hosted every year in Pasadena, is a New Year's Day highlight. People camp out overnight to view the intricately detailed floats, each made up of thousands of flowers, as the floats move down Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena.

DWP Light Festival

Every year, the Los Angeles DWP puts up various Christmas light displays in Griffith Park (the home of the Griffith Observatory, best known from the film Rebel Without A Cause).
